Under the Hood: High-Speed Rotogravure Lamination

Our rotogravure machinery uses laser-engraved steel cylinders to deposit precise quantities of ink onto base films (such as BOPET, BOPP, or BOPA). This process achieves consistent, high-resolution printing on runs of hundreds of thousands of linear meters. Following printing, dry lamination or solvent-less lamination systems combine the primary print layer with barrier substrates (like pure aluminum foil, VMPET, or EVOH co-extrusions) and food-grade heat-seal layers (commonly LLDPE or CPP).

After the adhesive has cured in temperature-controlled rooms, precision slitting machinery divides the wide webs into finished roll stock, or routes them to our bag-making department. Here, the film is converted into custom pouch designs, including stand-up pouches (Doypack), flat-bottom pouches, and side-gusset bags. The process concludes with pressure and thermal testing to ensure seal reliability before packaging the products for export.
