20+ Years of Manufacturing Leadership

Established in 2001 in Jiedong District, Jieyang City, Guangdong Province, Jieyang Yuanzhong Printing Co., Ltd. has grown into an international benchmark for advanced plastic packaging decoration, laminate formulation, and precision converting. Over the past two decades, we have committed ourselves to resolving the complex procurement and performance challenges faced by brands in the food, beverage, medical, pet nutrition, and specialty chemical spaces.

Operating with a philosophy that puts structural integrity, chemical safety, and visual premiumization first, our production facility features imported equipment configured to optimize speed and consistency. Notably, our integration of Japan Komori fully automatic printing lines alongside state-of-the-art high-speed gravure and solventless lamination processes enables us to output in excess of 240 metric tons of composite film and custom pouches monthly.

Macro Packaging Solutions for Global Brands

Addressing the critical parameters of shelf life, barrier chemistry, and supply chain resilience.

Advanced Barrier Formulations

For modern supply chains, standard packaging is insufficient. We design multi-layer structures incorporating BOPA (Nylon), EVOH, VMPET, and aluminum foil to achieve exceptionally low Oxygen Transmission Rates (OTR) and Water Vapor Transmission Rates (WVTR). This guarantees maximum freshness retention, prevents oxidation, and keeps moisture sensitive powders dry.

Sterile & Medical Compliance

Medical, hygiene, and sanitization products demand flawless structural stability. Our customized films for alcohol disinfection pads and medical components feature strong solvent resistance. The inner layers are chemically inert to prevent volatile agents from degrading the laminates or evaporating through micro-pores.

Eco-Friendly & Mono-Material Pathways

Aligning with circular economy targets (such as EU packaging guidelines and US EPR regulations), we are pioneering high-barrier mono-material laminate structures (PE/PE or PP/PP) and Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) resin combinations. These solutions offer identical processing performance on automatic vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) equipment while staying fully recyclable.

The Global Procurement Landscape

Enterprise buyers face a shifting matrix of international regulatory hurdles, logistics volatility, and consumer pressure for sustainable packaging formats. As a key supplier based in China, we act as a stabilizing asset. Our engineering team assists brand managers in defining proper material specifications, avoiding over-packaging, and reducing raw material expenses.

By designing specific barrier combinations optimized for transportation temperature extremes and mechanical stress, we reduce product waste during transcontinental shipping. This engineering-focused approach ensures compliance with the most stringent global standards, including US FDA regulations for direct food contact and EU Regulation 10/2011.

Precision Manufacturing & Technology Roadmap

Understanding the stages of high-speed gravure converting that turn polymer resins into premium consumer packaging.

Printing Stage

Printing

High-definition rotogravure printing delivering sharp graphics, deep color density, and registration accuracy.

Composite Stage

Composite

Solventless and dry lamination of multiple films to construct customized oxygen, moisture, and UV barriers.

Slitting Stage

Slitting

High-speed precision slitting of wide web rolls down to target roll stock widths for automated filling lines.

Bagging Stage

Bagging

Bag converting machinery forming stand-up pouches, flat-bottom pouches, quad-seal structures, and zipper profiles.

Packing Stage

Packing

Strict quality inspections followed by dust-free packaging, ensuring the integrity of materials for shipment.

The Technical Advantages of Rotogravure Converting

Compared to flexographic or digital alternatives, industrial rotogravure printing stands as the ideal method for large-volume plastic packaging runs. The direct ink transfer from engraved steel cylinders to film substrates allows for excellent ink density, vibrant color saturation, and unmatched consistency across millions of units.

  • Optimized Ink Film Thickness: Delivers superior visual density, scratch resistance, and barrier protection against UV light.
  • Extended Plate Durability: Chrome-plated steel cylinders maintain consistent registration over multi-million print runs without deterioration.
  • Versatile Material Compatibility: Allows for printing on PET, BOPP, BOPA, and PE, supporting complex multi-layer laminate combinations.
  • Solventless Lamination Technology: Removes VOC emissions, mitigates solvent retention in food packaging, and prevents layer delamination.

Expert FAQ: Strategic Plastic Packaging Sourcing

Essential guidance on materials, technical barriers, production standards, and supply chain logistics.

What determines the choice of barrier layers in coffee and pet food laminates? +
Coffee and pet food are highly sensitive to oxygen, light, and moisture. For coffee, custom coffee packaging film rolls must protect volatile aromatic oils from oxidation, requiring high-barrier aluminum foil (AL) or metalized film (VMPET). For pet food, which is rich in fats, the packaging must prevent rancidity and resist puncture. In these applications, we often use co-extruded Nylon (BOPA) layers combined with LLDPE for high tear strength and robust hermetic seals.
How do you guarantee chemical inertness for alcohol disinfection pads? +
Isopropanol or ethanol sterile packaging requires a specialized inner layer formulation. The plastic sealant film must be chemically resistant to prevent the solvent from degrading the adhesive layers, which can cause delamination. Jieyang Yuanzhong utilizes specialized PET/AL/Surlyn or modified co-polymer PE structures. This prevents vapor loss through micro-pores and maintains a tight hermetic seal throughout the product's shelf life.
What is the typical Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) and production lead time? +
For custom-printed roll stock and bags, MOQs are calculated based on the total surface area of film run. Because setup involves engraving cylinder plates for rotogravure, the minimum run is typically around 10,000 to 20,000 bags depending on dimensions. Initial order lead times generally span 15 to 25 days, which includes cylinder fabrication, trial printing, lamination, curing, and bag converting. Repeat orders are often processed faster.
How does solventless lamination benefit food and medical packaging? +
Solventless lamination uses solvent-free adhesives, eliminating the risk of residual solvents trapped between film layers. For food and medical packagers, this eliminates odors or chemical migration that could affect taste or safety. Additionally, this technique offers superior optical clarity and a smaller carbon footprint compared to traditional dry lamination.
Can Jieyang Yuanzhong assist in transitioning packaging to meet circular economy rules? +
Yes. We design and validate high-barrier mono-material laminate films (like PE/EVOH-PE or PP/PP) that are compatible with standard polyethylene recycling streams. We also supply structures incorporating Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) content and compostable options, helping brands comply with EPR regulations without sacrificing barrier performance.
